The Dari Delite in Clanton, Alabama was established in the early 1950's and Broaster ChickenŽ has been a part of Clanton ever since.  In March 1984, Mrs. Mims purchased the Dari Delite.  Shortly thereafter, she added a drive-in service which increased business substantially.

The manager, Agnes Noah, had worked for the Dari Delite for over ten years when Mrs. Mims purchased it and continues to prepare and serve Genuine Broaster ChickenŽ today.  Broaster ChickenŽ is over 60 percent of their business.  They normally sell more than 4,000 pieces of chicken per week.

Dari Delite and Broaster ChickenŽ will be a part of Clanton for another generation as Mrs. Mims' son, Kyle Mims, is General Manager of Dari Delite and another family owned fast food business in Clanton.

Kyle says, "We are proud to be a part of the community and to serve some of the best chicken in the country.  Our future is bright with more than a 20 percent increase over last year."

The Dari Delite is serviced by Bama BroasterŽ Sales and Service, the authorized distributor of Genuine BroasterŽ equipment and food products in Alabama.
