Crispy
Deli Glendale
Glendale, CA
(Grocery/Deli)

Ron and Dorene
Hall have been in the food service industry for over 25
years. While involved with their family owned Kastl Hall
Restaurant in Glendale, California, they expanded the menu to include
Broaster ChickenŽ, making Kastl Hall one of the first restaurants
in the Los Angeles area to carry the product.
But Ron
and Dorene saw a need in their community for good "homemade
sandwiches and soups" since there wasn't a real deli type
store in Glendale at that time. So they decided to branch
off from the family restaurant and open up their own business and Crispy Deli
Glendale was born.
Right from the start
Ron knew they would need highly profitable items to sell at their
new deli. Ron made sure that they were leaving enough room in the
kitchen for two 1400G Broaster pressure fryers. "I left out the grill
so I would have enough room for both Broasters."
Well,
11 years later Ron and Dorene have two 1800G units and still one
of the original workhorse 1400Gs. "Those Broasters gave
us the needed profit to get Crispy Deli past those early hard
years," said Dorene. Crispy Deli was doing so good that
Ron and Dorene decided to open Deli Too at the other end of town a
few years later. Broaster ChickenŽ was the first item on
the menu.
"Our Broasters have made a name for us in
this town, people know where to go for the best chicken in
Glendale."
