Scotty's Broasted® Chicken & Ribs opened on June 13, 1991 – a nice sit-down restaurant whose menu, in addition to Genuine Broaster Chicken® and Broaster® Potatoes, consists of everything from ribs and shrimp to chicken tenders and fish.  They can seat up to 150 people, and with four Broaster Company model 1800 pressure fryers, serve anywhere from 75-150 cases of Genuine Broaster Chicken® a week.

While in college, Scott Brennan worked at a restaurant that served Genuine Broaster Chicken®.  Realizing the potential in the business and simplicity of operations, he and dad, Tom, opened a restaurant in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Tom says their goal was to make it with the locals and anything above that was gravy.  Well they've had lots of gravy.  Often there is over an hour wait to be seated!

The reason they can make it and others can't?  Scott and Tom stress friendliness and developing a relationship with their customers.  Also they make sure a family member is always in the restaurant to supervise the operation and see to their customers' needs.

They started this business with the understanding that Tom would retire after three years, but he's still there, loving every minute.  Having had previous foodservice experience, Tom loves the Broaster Program.  "One thing about Broaster is that it works anywhere, with any type of people.  As long as there is consistency in the use of the Broaster Program and you use quality products, you'll be the best.  Broaster provides you with every single tool that you need to be successful."

Supporting their community is very important to Scott and Tom.  They donate gift certificates to groups such as the Elks Club, Kiwanis, and local schools, as well as special events such as gold tournaments, circuses, and the Special Olympics.  Scott says, "It feels great to give something back to the community and it gets our name out there as well."
