Twins'
Restaurant and Catering
Erie, PA
(Casual Dining)

That two is
better than one seems to be the key to success of the Twins'
Restaurant and Catering located in Erie, PA. The dynamic duo
of the twins, Rich and Ron Peterson, along with their wives and
children, got this thriving venture off the ground in 1972.
Both families have built the business into one the most thriving
eateries and off-premise catering services on Erie's west side.
With a staff of more
than 25 employees and specializing in prime rib dinners, pizza,
snack foods, antipasto salads, seafood, and Broaster Chicken®, the restaurant
has expanded into a remarkably "off-premise" catering
operation, serving thousands of people every year at reunions,
weddings, graduations, picnics, and other such events.
After tasting Broaster Chicken® at the 1989 N.R.A. Show in Chicago, the
Twins knew they had to include Broaster Chicken® in their
operation. Since that time, they have been operating two
Broaster pressure fryers, producing 1,000 pounds of chicken
weekly, and plan to add a third Broaster pressure fryer to keep up
with demand! The Twins'
also use their Broaster pressure fryers for other items including potato wedges, pork chops, and
their popular "fish fry."
The telephone
rings "off the hook" in the summer time for pans and
pans of Broaster Chicken® – which is the number one entree choice for
their buffet meal.
The successful
formula of good, no frills, stick-to-the-ribs food, and the homey,
almost reverse-chic atmosphere, combined with their
now-famous Broaster Chicken®, has hit the jackpot for Mrs.
Peterson's twin sons.
