Sunset Restaurant is a restaurant that lives by the Golden Rule.  Bob and Virginia Hodge believe in "Do unto your customers as you would have them do unto you".

For 25 years Bob and Virginia have served their excellent roast beef and home cooking to their customers from in and around Lebanon, Tennessee.  Seven years ago Bob was looking to replace a deep fryer when he met Drew Patterson of Stoker's, the authorized Broaster distributor for Tennessee.  Bob remembered the Broasted Chicken® he used to treat his family to many years ago at the Mr. Chicken restaurant that was just down the road.  Mr. Chicken was owned and operated by Charles Porter, who is now president of the Captain D's Division of Shoney's Inc.

Sunset Restaurant then became part of the Broaster® family of operators.  Broaster Chicken®, which accounts for over $2,500 per week in sales, has become the second best seller on the restaurant's menu, next to their famous roast beef.

The restaurant is run as a "family affair" with all four of the Hodge children – Jimmy Bobby, Meceia, and Debbie – helping out in the restaurant.

The restaurant has expanded twice, going from 70 to 125 seats.

Bob and Virginia Hodge are truly worthy of the Golden Chicken Award they received in 1992.
