Holiday Foods and Groceries #1
Santa Claus, IN
(Grocery/Deli)

Holiday Foods and Groceries, Inc., a small grocery store chain in Southern Indiana, has been serving customers since 1970.  Managers at their Santa Claus, Indiana location really know how to keep food HO HO HOT!  In September of 1998, Holiday Foods #1 purchased a 4' Broaster Perfect Hold™ deli case.  Now, they are able to keep up with rush times by cooking ahead while still maintaining quality food.

Located near an amusement park, customers stop in frequently to pick up Broaster Chicken® to go for picnic lunches.  During Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, they offer specials on 8-piece dinners and it's important to have a lot of product on hand.  The deli case really helps them get through the summer.

Occasionally they get a call for a large order.  The Perfect Hold™ deli case helps them respond quickly by keeping a supply of chicken and other foods warm and ready for immediate customers while they are filling the larger order.

It is a well known fact that sales of hot foods are most often influenced by its appearance.  Diane Knies, the bakery/deli supervisor for the chain, feels the presentation made by the deli case is a vital part of selling the products inside of it.  The Perfect Hold™ deli case is constructed so that it it very easy to clean, especially the front glass which pivots down so both inside an out are accessible for cleaning.

Food kept in the Perfect Hold™ deli case stays moist and maintains its temperature.  "It maintains heat better than either of the other two warmers we have.  You don't have to keep resetting the (temperature) dials.  All you have to do is flip the switch and you can leave it all day.  We serve everything from Genuine Broaster Chicken® and potatoes to Broaster® Recipe tenders, chicken fillets, pork tenderloins and vegetables out of it.  We even keep soups in there during the winter.  Everything stays at an even temperature...warm."
