Arizona Joe's in Apache Junction, Arizona tames the Wild, Wild, West using four Model 1800 Broaster pressure fryers along with a Broaster Model 2000 broiler.  The chefs at Arizona Joe's cook up to 500 meals a day during their peak season.

It all began when Joe and Tina Vincent took over kitchen management at the American Legion in Apache Junction.  They found an old model 1400 Broaster pressure fryer and called Ken Jaksch of H & B Enterprises, the authorized Broaster distributor in that area, for assistance.  Ken got the old 1400 up and running like a new machine and forged a great relationship with Tina and Joe.

When Tina and Joe decided to go into business for themselves in 1994, they again contacted Ken, knowing Broaster had to be a part of their business  They bought a 400-seat restaurant, naming it Arizona Joe's, and then purchased a single model 1800 pressure fryer from Ken.  Within 18 months they purchased two more 1800's to keep up with demand.

In 1997, Tina and Joe wanted to add a fourth 1800 pressure fryer to their line, but they didn't have enought room to accommodate a 4th fryer under their hood.  Ken introduced them to the new Model 2000 broiler.  They decided to trade in their old 6 foot char grill for the efficient, compact broiler.  With the Model 2000 in place, they were able to install the 4th pressure fryer as well.

Arizona Joe's now serves many products prepared on the Model 2000 – from boneless, skinless, chicken breasts to hamburgers and steaks.  Craig Kuehl, the head chef for Arizona Joe's, likes the Model 2000 broiler because "it frees you up to gather the rest of the meal, while the meat is cooking.  You don't have to turn it and that cuts your cook time in half.  There is no other equipment on the market that can produce an equivalent product when it comes to a big, tender, juicy steak and the same can be said of the Broaster pressure fryer and Genuine Broaster Chicken®."

In recognition of their achievement in promoting and selling Genuine Broaster Chicken®, The Broaster Company presented Arizona Joe's with the coveted Golden Chicken Award in 1999.
