Mix
yeast and sugar into lukewarm water, stiring well until both
yeast and sugar are dissolved. Then let water solution
stand for 5-10 minutes.

After
standing period, pour water solution into a bowl and mix in
Broaster All-Purpose Batter, completely blending the
ingredients in either by hand or blender.

Knead
or mix the dough until the dough becomes elastic and smooth,
then shape into a dough ball.

Place
the dough ball into an oiled bowl and cover with a damp
towel. Let the dough proof for about 90 minutes or
until it doubles in size.

After
proofing, push the air out of the dough and roll it back
into a dough ball.

Cut
the dough ball in half and roll the halves into two loafs.

Cover
with a damp towel and proof for another 30 minutes.

Use
a knife to make small diagonal cuts on the top of each loaf.

Brush
the loaves with oil, butter, or egg whites and bake for 20
minutes at 360º F.

Makes
approximately two 22 oz. loaves.
