01/28/2009: Jay Cipra Appointed CEO of The Broaster Company

Beloit, WI, January 28, 2009 – The Broaster Company, Inc. has announced the appointment of Jay Cipra to the position of Chief Executive Officer of The Broaster Company, LLC.

For the past four years, Cipra has served as President of The Broaster Company, Inc., the parent entity of The Broaster Company, LLC. In his new appointment, Cipra will focus on Broaster’s strategic growth initiatives and the continued strengthening of the company’s relationship with its network of authorized independent distributors. Richard Schrank will continue in his role as President and Chief Operating Officer for the firm.

Established in 1954 and headquartered in Beloit, Wisconsin, The Broaster Company markets and licenses the Genuine Broaster Chicken®, Broaster® Recipe Express, Broaster® To Go Authentic Pizza, and Bro-Tisserie® food programs worldwide through a network of authorized distributors. The company also manufactures pressure fryers, ventless countertop fryers, and a full line of specialty foodservice equipment; blends a complete line of marinades and breadings; and markets an expanding line of individually quick frozen uncooked foods for foodservice operations under the Broaster® Recipe Foods brand name.
