Broaster Announces 2008 NRA Exhibit Plans
Beloit, WI,
May 6, 2008 –
The Broaster Company will showcase
its full line of foodservice equipment and food products at
the upcoming NRA Show in Chicago (May 17-20, Booth #5637, in McCormick
Place's North Hall).
Prominently featured in the
Broaster booth will be the firm’s two highly successful
branded food programs – the Genuine Broaster Chicken® program
and the Broaster® Recipe Express program. Both licensed trademark
programs combine the company’s high quality foodservice
equipment with proprietary fresh and frozen food products
featuring uniquely delicious flavor profiles.
The Genuine
Broaster Chicken® program, celebrating more than a half
century of success in the foodservice industry, will be featured
along with Broaster’s complementary line of high-output
pressure fryers. Available in three compact, high-efficiency
models – the 1600, the 1800, and the 2400 – these units offer the
capability to cook loads of 20, 40, and 64 pieces of fresh
chicken to perfection in under 10 minutes (or frozen chicken in
about 18 minutes).
The Genuine
Broaster Chicken® program offers operators the choice of using
either their own fresh chicken and/or premarinated fresh or frozen chicken
available from The Broaster Company. A variety of
flavor profiles are available for the fresh product including
Genuine Broaster®, Extra Crispy, Cajun Crispy, and Broasterie®
– which uses a special marinade and seasoning combination to
produce moist, juicy, and flavorful “rotisserie-style”
chicken that is pressure fried in just 13 minutes (whole 2-3/4
lb. birds). All four varieties offer significantly lower carbs,
fewer calories, and less fat than other brands of fried chicken.
Equally featured in the Broaster booth will be the company’s Broaster®
Recipe Express branded food program built around the
firm’s new compact ventless fryers available in two
sizes. The smaller VF-2 model offers a 2-lb. load capacity
and small footprint, making it a perfect
fit for any size operation. The larger VF-3 model, with
its 3-lb. load
capacity and slightly larger footprint, is
available for operations needing a larger cooking
capacity. Best of all, operators don’t need to add
commercial kitchens or install costly hood systems with these
affordable, easy-to-operate units as both models have their own
built-in ventilation and fire suppression systems. Operation of
both units is simple too, a solid-state controller allows any one of
10 preset time and temperature combinations to be recalled with
the touch of a button. An auto-lift feature is included to raise
and lower the food basket in the well automatically, letting employees concentrate on customers rather than the
cooking cycle.
Both ventless
fryer models are available alone or as part of the Broaster®
Recipe Express program featuring convenient, premium quality
Broaster® Recipe frozen products – a wide range of which will be
available for sampling in the Broaster booth. These delicious
foods, which arrive individually quick frozen and ready for
cooking,
help operators control costs by enabling them to prepare only
the precise portions they need. Included in the
Broaster® Recipe Express program are chicken tenders, jumbo popcorn
chicken, chicken fillets, hot wings, potato wedges, mozzarella
sticks, jumbo corndogs, ocean cod fillets, and beer
batter recipe shrimp.
Making
its debut at this year's event will be Broaster®
Recipe Pork Loin Back Ribs. These new pork loin back ribs
with a delicious tangy BBQ sauce represent Broaster’s first
foray into offering a fully-cooked product. Individually quick
frozen and conveniently packed in two 5-lb. pouches per case,
these delicious ribs offer a restaurant quality product that’s
sure to please. Foodservice operators simply heat ‘n serve
from a microwave, convection, or conventional oven. Other recent
additions to the Broaster® Recipe product line include chedder
nuggets, Jalapeno peppers, breakfast burritos, beef 'n bean
burritos,
pizza burritos, boneless buffalo wings, and a pork tenderloin product perfect for
sandwiches.
Broaster charges no franchise,
licensing, or royalty fees for either branded food program and
both programs offer branded packaging, point of sale materials,
on-site training, marketing support, and a wide range of
supplies and accessory equipment.
