Beloit,
WI - The
Broaster
Company hosted a special operator training seminar this week for
Goga Vardigoreli of Cinema Rustaveli, an entrepreneur opening a
new Genuine
Broaster
Chicken® operation in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia. The
Broaster store will be located in a food court in Tbilisi’s
Rustaveli
Plaza.
Broaster offers monthly two-day
training seminars in which current and newly licensed Broaster
operators are taught the proper techniques of preparing Genuine
Broaster Chicken® and other Broaster® foods. Covering a
wide range of topics and including hands-on food preparation,
actual equipment operation, and classroom learning, these
seminars help Broaster operators learn the Broaster program and
improve the overall efficiency of their foodservice businesses.
In addition to his new status
as a licensed Broaster operator, Mr. Vardigoreli will also
become a territory representative for Broaster in the
Republic
of
Georgia, providing product distribution, parts, service, and on-site
training for additional independent operators that will be
developed in Georgia
through Mr. Vardigoreli’s representation.
The relationship with Mr.
Vardigoreli is Broaster’s first in the Republic
of
Georgia, a part of the
Soviet Union
before that nation’s collapse in 1991. Mr. Vardigoreli
recently contacted Broaster after finding and exploring its
website, www.broaster.com. Mr. Vardigoreli was intrigued
by Broaster’s branded food concept which is offered with an
annual no-cost licensing agreement rather than as a franchise
program with ongoing fees. Currently there are no chains
or franchises offering branded chicken products in the Republic
of
Georgia, so this association offers significant opportunities for
expansion.
On hand to congratulate Mr.
Vardigoreli on his completion of the training was Jerald Veit,
International Trade Specialist for the Export
Assistance
Center
of the Wisconsin Department of Commerce. Mr. Veit has been
instrumental in assisting Broaster expand its international
coverage by helping the company place its product information on
U.S. Commercial Services websites.
Since its inception in 1954,
Genuine
Broaster
Chicken® has become a favorite of people all over the world and
a signature food item on menus everywhere. More than 5,000
dedicated foodservice operations across the U.S.
and thousands more throughout the world enjoy the licensing
rights to use the
Broaster
name and trademark. Through a network of authorized
distributors in strategic locations across the U.S.
and around the globe,
Broaster
has become an international company famous for a full line of
foodservice products including pressure fryers, ventless fryers,
rotisserie ovens, broilers, merchandisers, frozen foods,
marinades, breadings, soups, stuffing, sauces, and other related
items.
Throughout
Broaster
’s 50-year history, the company has been known for partnering
with independent restaurants, supermarkets, bars, nightclubs,
convenience stores, and military, institutional, and
governmental foodservice operations to successfully assist them
in growing their businesses through
Broaster
’s unique combination of products, equipment, training,
marketing, and no-cost licensing programs.
