02/05/2004: Broaster Celebrates Golden Anniversary
Beloit, WI - The Broaster Company, world famous for its trademarked
“Genuine Broaster Chicken®” program, is celebrating its
50th anniversary throughout 2004.
Since its inception in 1954, Genuine Broaster Chicken® has
become a favorite of people all over the world and a signature
food item on menus everywhere. More than 5,000 dedicated
foodservice operations throughout the world enjoy the licensing
rights to use the Broaster name and trademark. Through a
network of authorized distributors in strategic locations across
the U.S. and around the globe, Broaster has become an
international company famous for a full line of foodservice
products including pressure fryers, ventless fryers, rotisserie
ovens, broilers, merchandisers, frozen foods, marinades,
breadings, soups, stuffing, sauces, and other related items.
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, The Broaster Company is
introducing several new products this year, including:

a brand new licensed
trademark program called Broaster® Recipe Express aimed at
smaller foodservice establishments looking to add a quick
and easy hot foods program;

a new marinade and seasoning
combination called Broasterie®, which enables pressure
fried chicken to have a delicious new rotisserie flavor
profile;

new prime-quality cod,
shrimp, and Cajun catfish products in the company’s
fast-growing Broaster® Recipe Foods frozen products
division;

and an important expansion in the company’s range of
high-quality foodservice equipment – the new Broaster
Company manufactured VF-3 compact ventless fryer.
In addition, the company recently held a meeting in Phoenix,
Arizona for its worldwide distributor organization to introduce
these new products and to celebrate both the company’s Golden
Anniversary and outstanding distributor achievements during
2003.
