02/05/2004: New Broasterie® Rotisserie Style Chicken

Beloit, WI - Genuine Broaster Chicken® trademark operators can now easily enhance sales from their existing customer base and create additional new customers by adding a great new taste sensation to their menu – Broasterie® rotisserie style chicken.  Specially developed by The Broaster Company for pressure frying, the newly introduced Broasterie® Marinade and Broasterie® Supreme Seasoning condiments provide users of Broaster pressure fryers with the capability to produce great tasting rotisserie style chicken in a fraction of the time required by conventional rotisserie cooking methods.  Best of all, the resulting product is juicier and more flavorful than rotisserie oven cooked chicken, yet is nutritionally comparable in calorie, fat, and carbohydrate content. (Click on one of the following links an Adobe Acrobat pdf file comparing calorie, fat, and carbohydrate content of Broasterie with other types of fried and rotisserie cooked chicken – screen resolution-179k, high resolution-481k.)

With a suggested cooking time of just 13 minutes at 360º F in a pressure fryer compared to 60 to 90 minutes in a typical rotisserie oven, this delicious new menu addition allows Broaster operators to enter the soaring rotisserie chicken home meal replacement market simply, easily, and profitably using equipment they already have.  Operators can cook up to 6 whole birds in a Broaster Model 2400 pressure fryer or up to 4 whole birds in a Broaster Model 1800 pressure fryer.  Overall cost per piece for oil, marinade, and seasoning is similar to that of Genuine Broaster Chicken®.

Operators are instructed to use their own fresh chicken in whole, halves, quarters, or 8-piece cut, then marinate and season according to Broaster Company instructions using the specially formulated Broasterie® Marinade and Broasterie® Supreme Seasoning.  The resulting “Broasterie® Chicken” is tender, juicy, and flavorful, right down to the bone, and features a crispier, tastier skin.

Operators may also avail themselves of Broasterie® branded packaging and point of sale materials to assist them in promoting the product to their customers.

The company is offering free introductory trial kits incorporating enough Broasterie® marinade and seasoning to cook approximately 4-5 birds.  For more information, please call 1-800-365-8278.  (Click on one of the following links for Adobe Acrobat pdf of Broasterie® brochure –
