BRO-OIL®
CANOLA AND RICE BRAN COOKING OILS –
NO TRANS fATty acids, NO CHOLESTEROL, AND LOW IN SATURATED FAT
Recently
some of the larger quick service restaurant franchises have made announcements about converting their stores to using cooking oils without trans fats. As a reminder, The Broaster Company has been offering for several years two cooking oils that have no trans fats – our Bro-Oil® Canola Oil and our Bro-Oil® Rice Bran oil.
Additionally, these two healthier oils are also naturally low in saturated fat and have no cholesterol!
As noted in our nutritional information brochure,
Searching for Tasty Low Carb
Options? (119k Adobe Acrobat pdf), our pressure-fried Genuine Broaster Chicken® and Broasterie® Chicken, as well as our rotisserie-cooked
Bro-Tisserie® Chicken, all contain only a fraction of a gram of trans fat after cooking. As the
U.S. government allows 0.5 grams of trans fat to still be considered as “0”, all three products could actually be specified as having 0 grams of trans fat.
Nutritional test results provided by
the principal supplier of chicken for our Broaster® Recipe frozen products
indicate that there is less than 0.5 grams of trans fat in
each of those products as well.
